Visiting SeaScape Manor in Highlands, New Jersey provides the perfect opportunity to also visit the beautiful and relaxing Sandy Hook National Recreation Seashore. Whether you travel by train, ferry, plane or bus, let us help you find your way to us at the NJ Shore. The manor is located 50 to 60 minutes from New York City by Seastreak Ferry and 90 minutes by car. We are only 12 miles from the Garden State Parkway. And, we are 45 minutes from Newark International Airport. By Bus: Academy Bus Line Gates 9 & 11, Port Authority, NYC. Take Route 36 Line to Highlands and get off at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Call in advance to the B&B and we will pick you up at the bus stop. Visit Academy Bus Lines for schedule information.

By Ferry: Seastreak Ferry Line offers service to/from Highlands or Belford. They leave Pier 11 in NYC, located at the bottom of Wall Street. Some departures are from 35th street on the East Side or 38th Street on the West Side.

Let us know what time you will be arriving and we will do our best to pick you up at the ferry. Or arrange ahead for an Uber or Taxi to be waiting for you at the Highlands Ferry Terminal, Shore Drive, Highlands, NJ 07732.

By Train: New Jersey Transit, North Jersey Coast Line to Middletown Station. You will need to order an Uber or take a Taxi from the Train Station to: 3 Grand Tour Highlands, NJ 07732. (Make sure you tell them we are located through the Henry Hudson Regional School Parking lot – all the way to the back and to the left – there are 2 large yellow school buses parked in the back of their parking lot – our driveway is to the left of those 2 large yellow school buses.)

Taxi: If you need a taxi, call Yellow Cab at 732-671-4600.

By Car: Take Exit 117 off the Garden State Parkway. Take Rt. 36 toward Sandy Hook. Proceed 12 miles to the Highlands Bridge that crosses over to Sandy Hook. Make the last right hand turn before the bridge (You will see a restaurant Off the Hook just prior to your turn.) You are now on Portland Road. Follow Portland, you will see an entrance to Hartshorne Woods Park, bear to the right and do not enter the park. Proceed up Portland until you see the stop sign. Proceed straight ahead into the Henry Hudson School parking lot and go to the far left corner, our gate and entrance sign are located there. The house is not easily seen from the parking lot, you will proceed down the small hill to get here. Please park in our spacious parking lot and come in the front door. Welcome to SeaScape!

If you are coming from Sea Bright : Cross over the bridge to Highlands from Sandy Hook - bear to your right and exit at the end of the bridge. Proceed down the hill and at Bay Avenue, go under the bridge and proceed up the hill to the stop sign. Off The Hook Restaurant will be directly in front of you. Make a left at this stop sign and you will be on Portland Road. Follow Portland, you will see an entrance to Hartshorne Woods Park, bear to the right and do not enter the park. Proceed straight ahead to the stop sign and continue ahead into the Henry Hudson Regional School Parking Lot. Go straight, all the way to the back of the parking lot and all the way to the left, our gate and entrance sign are there. The house is not easily seen from the parking lot, you will go down the driveway hill to get here. Please park in our spacious parking lot and to the front door (signs point the direction to the correct entrance).
